I was lucky to receive a 3 hour long massage from Dan which was transformative on many levels. He got deep into some knots that had accrued during my travels and even old tension from years ago. He restructured my feet somehow so that they hit the ground in a different pattern and the pain I was having in my ankles melted away. The space that he created was very safe, comfortable, and good humored and I felt free to experience the emotions stored in those knots as well. The artistry of his bodywork was accompanied by spiritual music from around the world, the space was draped with inspiring tapestries that my eyes landed on at different points in the journey, and at times he stopped the massage to incorporate shamanic drumming. As a bodyworker myself with 15 years experience who has received massages around the world, I highly recommend Dan – he is a true healer and a lovely person.

Best massage ever! Dan gives amazing massages, working on many many levels. He is very sensitive and intuitive, and is not afraid to do what needs to be done, and take the time that needs to be taken. He is a really nice man, has such a lovely presence. I was so comfortable with him, which allowed him to work very deeply with my body, intuitively accessing core issues. I have a very complex spine (pars defect, curvature, calcification), with associated muscle and nerve pain, and I believe Dan has helped shift some long-standing holding patterns. Dan used an amazing combination of techniques including sound vibrations using a beautifully tonal drum that resonated deeply on a cellular level…affecting parts of me that couldn’t be reached through touch. The cupping was special in that he also moved them gently across my skin, which created an energetic pulling sensation that felt divine. The remedial massage itself was intuitively spot on. It felt as though he spoke the language of my body….kind of like how a horse whisperer is able to calm a spooked horse.
